CONQUEST 2005 Call for Volunteers

CONQUEST is run entirely by volunteers – from the convention organisers, to the helpful staff at the registration desk and canteen, to the games or events writers and organisers and the people who run the games or events at the convention.

Volunteering is a fantastic way to help out a convention, meet new people and have a fun time.

There are many different ways you can help CONQUEST at a convention.
They are:

• Design or run a game or event (of course!!)
• Offer to help run/GM another person's game or event
• Help prepare/sell food in the canteen
• Help at registration or generally at the convention
• Help set up (on Thursday night)/pack up convention gear (on Monday night)

Anyone can be a volunteer, and you can always lend a hand even if you are running or participating in a game or event.

It is helpful if you:

• Like to have fun!!
• Enjoy being around and helping people
• Have no problems handling/preparing food
• Have time available during the convention to help when needed (please let us know what days and when)

PLEASE NOTE: This is not paid work – being a volunteer gives you the satisfaction of knowing that you helped a lot of people (including yourself) have an enjoyable time.
