Conquest is one of Australia’s oldest running games conventions – The first Conquest was in 1989 at the Melbourne Showgrounds!
Emily, our mascot, has been a feature of the Conquest poster for a long time. And she has sported many different looks over the years.
We have uncovered the 1998 convention poster from our archives. Back then you would have collected a convention booklet from your local game store, filled in what games you wanted and posted it off. Nowadays we have the luxury of the internet to streamline the process. However, at its core, Conquest is still about people coming together in person to have fun and play games.
