Conquest Registration Guide

How to register for the Conquest games convention and sign up for games.

For the first time, pre-register for the Conquest convention and reserve spaces in games via Aftergame, the social tabletop gaming app.

Aftergame is an app and website that tracks plays of tabletop and board games, as well as helping to organise events from at-home games to large convention events. You might have run into it at Play Con or  Table Top Con in the past couple of years as well as smaller events.

To help smooth the transition to a new system, we’ve put together this guide to show you want to expect through each step of registration. The example images are from the website version of Aftergame, but the same process can be done via the Android or Apple versions of the Aftergame app.

The link above will take you directly to the Conquest 2026 event. If you are not logged in to an Aftergame account you’ll see the event here, with the option to sign in or download the app. Click “Sign in” to see the sign-in options below. Remember to check spam folders for confirmation emails.

If you are logged in to Aftergame, the Conquest Melbourne 2026 event will look like this, with options to buy tickets, save the event as one you’re interested in, and look through the schedule of games.

You will need to go through the registration process via “Get tickets” in order to sign up for games.

The “Get tickets” option will take you here, where you can pre-pay for day or weekend tickets, register as paying on the day, or register as a GM or volunteer.

Important note: Aftergame WILL allow you to buy tickets for more than one person, and proceed to book that number of seats in games, but as this is a very new system there are risks of glitches happening with this process. If you have bought tickets for multiple people and are having trouble with booking games later, please reach out to us.

If you select a paid option, you can proceed to checkout. to pay for passes by card. Aftergame uses Stripe for all payment processing.

If you only select “Paying on the day” or a GM/Volunteer ticket, you will proceed straight back to the event page.

After registration you’ll see your tickets page. This is reachable any time via the “View tickets” button on the main event page.

Please ignore the “New…” feature. It is intended for events with free play table space available. All our existing attendees know that we fill our convention and all tables to the brim with scheduled content.

Go to the Full schedule button at the bottom left to peruse the Conquest 2026 convention schedule and sign up for games. Any you have lined up will appear in “My schedule” on the bottom right.

In Full Schedule, you’ll see all games lined up for each day, organised by time. Use the magnifying glass on the top right to search for specific game titles – everything is listed by the same name you’ll find on our blurb pages, as well as the system.

You can also use the filter on the top right to search for games from a specific system, but the filter there does contain all games and systems on Aftergame, not just the ones we have at Conquest this year.

Again, please ignore the “Plan a game” button as that is also a feature intended for free play events.

When you select a game on the schedule, you’ll go to that session’s dedicated page and queue. You might briefly see the screen on the left with the “signup requires a ticket” warning, that’s a known bug and will disappear after a second or two.

From this page you can see a cut down version of the blurb, a link to the full blurb on the Conquest website, options to reserve a spot in the game (or waitlist, if it is full), or mark it as a game you’re interested in.

After you choose to “claim a seat”, choose one of the first four options listed in order to reserve your spot. Functionally it’s not going to matter much which you choose, but it can be useful for the GMs to know how familiar you are with the game.

When you’ve successfully registered for a game, you’ll see your information in the Players list. If a GM is registered you’ll see that information here as well.

You can share events and send invitations to friends, but be aware that these will count as expressions of interest, not additional claimed seats.

There is also an option under the three dots menu on the right to add events to the calendar on your device.

And that’s Aftergame registration! If you have any questions reach out to us via the Discord Server, or email us at conquestorgs@gmail.com

Please remember this is our first year using Aftergame, and it is a brand new ticketing system. We expect there to be a few bumps along the way, but we are also actively working with the Aftergame team to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible. If you do have any issues registering for the convention or signing up for games definitely reach out to us.
