While the next planned Conquest is many months away, we thought we’d share some upcoming freeforms and LARP (live action role-play) events run by members of our community.

We are all greatly looking forward to being able to game again in person (Covid permitting).

Chimera Productions LARP

Chimera LARP is back for 2021 after a pandemic hiatus. Games are not related to the storyline—these take place somewhere in the past. Come along and rediscover the joy of LARP with these traditional open world stories.

The games:

A Grendlar Problem [For under 16s] – A new farming town is seeking hunters to drive out a nest of Grendlars.  Will our adventurers be clever enough to deal with these wily goblins?

The Great Beast – Avantine settlers in the northeast are troubled by a great beast of fantastic strength.  Hunters familiar with the mainland creatures are sought to bring the elusive creature to heel.

Courier’s Calling – Civilisations rise and fall, but even after their decline they must be protected.  From the environment and even the politics of the modern world.  Bring your picks and brushes, and maybe even your swords, to help the Couriers Guild to  preserve history.

Orax Clearance – Mercenaries and Hunters are sought to assist in clearance of Orax threat from settlement in the northeast.  Gold bounty for Orax kills.  Danger inherent, no additional fees for loss of life or limb.

The next Chimera Productions LARP is slated to run on August 28th (Covid restrictions permitting). $30 per person and BYO lunch.
